Athletes are required to register with USA Swimming before they can enter any swimming competition hosted by a USA Swimming organization or team.
Why?

 USA Swimming provides insurance to clubs and athletes. It is actually USA Swimming Policay to prohibit non-USA Swimming athletes from registering in USA Swimming competitions and/or events. Teams can be fined for violating the policy.

Register Unattached

Why will you need to register as unattached? Champion Technique is not currently registered with USA Swimming. We've only had a few swimmers who have wished to compete at swimming meets. Paying the fee to register the swim team has not been worth it. Since Champion Technique is not a "USA Swimming Club" athletes must register with USA Swimming as Unattached to a club. That way the meet host and athlete are covered by insurance.


Champion Technique is pursuing registering with USA Swimming now that we have more athletes wishing to compete at swimming meets.
