Swim Meet Calendar & Information

Meets are where athletes put their training into action. This section highlights upcoming swim meets, key details, and any important notes families need to know. Below you’ll find our current meet calendar for the Champion Technique Swim Team. Dates and details are updated regularly, so check back often.

Swimmers must register with USA Swimming before they are allowed to compete in a swimming competition. Register for USA Swimming at:

Meet Basics

Every swim meet will list:

  • Location & Directions
  • Warm-Up Time (swimmers should be on deck and ready 15 minutes prior to warmup start)
  • Meet Start Time
  • Estimated End Time (when available)
  • Events Offered (age-group races and stroke distances)

Arrival & Check-In

  • Swimmers should arrive before warm-up time to check in and get ready.
  • Check-in usually includes:
    • Confirming attendance
    • Getting event numbers and heat/lane assignments
    • Meeting with coaches before warm-ups

Events & Entries

  • Coaches help select events that are age-appropriate and match the swimmer’s development and goals.
  • Event entries are typically due by the entry deadline listed on the calendar.
  • Late entries may not be accepted—please plan ahead when possible.

Fees

  • Swim meets include entry fees per event and/or swimmer surcharge.
  • Details for each meet will be listed under “Meet Info”.
  • Payment instructions will be provided through our registration system.

Spectators & Family Info

  • Families are encouraged to attend and cheer!
  • Specific rules (seating, concessions, outside food, photography) will be listed per meet if they differ by location.
  • We ask all families to represent Champion Technique with positive, sportsmanlike behavior at all times.

Swim meets run smoothly because parents and volunteers lend a hand. Many meets need help with:

  • Timers
  • Officials
  • Clerk of course
  • Awards/ribbons
  • Hospitality or concession support


If volunteer help is needed for a specific meet, you’ll see:

  • A “Volunteer Sign-Up” link on the meet info
  • Roles and shifts listed with short descriptions


Helping out is a great way to:

  • Support your swimmer
  • Build community with other families
  • Keep meets running on time and safely

Meet entries are handled through our team registration system. The process usually looks like this:

1. Check the Calendar

  • Find a meet that fits your swimmer’s skill level (B/C, BB & Up, etc).

2. Talk With Your Coach (Optional but Helpful)

  • Confirm which events make the most sense for your swimmer.

3. Submit Entries Online Below

4. Watch for Confirmation

  • You’ll receive a confirmation once entries are processed.

5. Final event lists and timelines may be shared closer to the meet date.
