When you register for Learn-to-Swim lessons, Swim Team, or future digital programs, we may collect:

We currently do not collect or store sensitive personal information such as dates of birth, addresses, medical records, or payment card numbers in our own systems.

2.2 Performance and Training Data

To provide high-quality coaching and track progress, we may collect and store:

• Swim meet entries and results
• Times and other performance indicators

This data helps us personalize instruction, monitor improvement, and guide athletes toward their goals.

5. Photography, Video, and Media Release

At this time, Champion Technique does not take photos or videos of athletes for promotional use.

However, because we may choose to incorporate media in the future to celebrate our community and programs, by registering with Champion Technique you acknowledge and agree:

• If Champion Technique begins taking photos or videos of athletes:
  • We will seek appropriate consent from parents/guardians before using any identifiable images for marketing, social media, website content, or promotional materials.

• Any media we capture will be used respectfully and in alignment with our core values: safety, quality instruction, and community engagement.

This is separate from parents’ own personal photos and social media use, which is governed by our Parent & Athlete Behavior and Conduct Policy.

6. Sharing of Information with Third Parties

We may share limited information with trusted third-party providers when necessary to operate our programs, including:

• RiffRumble.com – for sending newsletters and program communications
• trafft.com – for scheduling and registering for Learn-to-Swim lessons
• Hytek – for registering athletes for swim meets and managing entries
• Stripe, Venmo, Zelle – for payment processing

We only share the minimum information needed for these services to function (for example, names and emails for communication tools).

We do not allow third parties to sell your data on our behalf.

7. Data Retention

We aim to keep data only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Operate our programs
• Maintain accurate training and performance records
• Comply with legal, regulatory, or USA Swimming-related obligations (if applicable)
• Resolve disputes or enforce our policies

After information is no longer needed for these purposes, we will reasonably work to delete or anonymize it.
